Trincomalee District is located in the Eastern Province of Sri Lanka, spanning over 2,727 square kilometres across 11 Divisional Secretariats. A historically multi-ethnic and multi-cultural hub, mother-tongue schooling flourished in Tamil and Sinhala mediums through commendable government schools.
Cambridge International School was founded by Cambridge International Services (Private) Limited to address that vital gap. The school opened on 3 September 2017 with an inaugural cohort of 14 students and 8 staff. Today, it guides approximately 300 scholars through an unbroken Pearson Edexcel continuum.
